Each One is Unique

London…Nathan Jenden

Pieces with large-scale cutouts and origami folds appeared like singular one-of-a-kind pieces—similar to snowflakes—in a tight monochromatic palette of mostly moonless night black and snow white. Entitled “Frostbite,” Jenden’s F/W 09 displayed a bit of that ‘80s style that has been a reoccurring theme in a number of shows this season. Fishnet-trimmed strapless dresses and baggy pants paired with bandage-wrapped tops for a new dominatrix feel. Models stomping to the beat of Prince’s “Erotic City” made the looks even more frigid.
