Design aficionado, and founding director of DesignMiami/, Ambra Medda has recently launched an online shop to showcase emerging and established design talent.

L’ArcoBaleno, translating to “rainbow” in Italian, is a joint collaboration with former eBay executive Oliver Weyergraf. It serves as a marketplace for design products and a destination for inspirational design knowledge, providing rich editorial content, trend analysis, travel diaries and video profiles alongside purchasable objects.

Medda is keen to focus on the “entire spectrum of design, ” as enthused in a recent interview with Wallpaper* Magazine.

“That includes collectible objects, fashion, food, music, architecture, art and technology. Our hope is that it will influence the global design conversation, and inspire and engage collectors, curators, and devotees of creative fields.”
