Milan: Dean and Dan Caten are known for taking archetypical characters (previous shows have included the backpacker, the cowboy, the Formula One racer) and glamorizing their daily surroundings. For F/W 12, with a runway made to mimic a schoolroom—complete with models throwing paper airplanes at the teacher and smoking cigarettes—the design duo herald the importance of youthful rebellion (Pink Floyd’s classic anthem “The Wall was the soundtrack). With a collection made up of schoolboy classics, for both teacher and student, the brand continues to show wearable styles with a decidedly sexy edge. —Michael Fisher
