Dries Van Noten

PARIS…As an established master of print, Dries Van Noten has explored a range of motifs in the past few years, including the current craze for florals. For F/W 08, he diminished his reliance on blooms and added in marbleized patterns that recalled rock striations, as well as a gorgeous crisscrossed multi-color top that mimicked stained glass. Fresh key items included cropped puffer jackets, elongated, pieced sweaters and knee length dresses. For Juniors, the inspirations will mostly come from the energetic, shimmering colors and abstract print mixing, a new direction from the floral wash.
