Now in its third season, AMC’s “Mad Men” continues to set fashion trends with its simplistic, classy and unmistakably masculine styles. The show’s costume designer, Janie Bryant, is finally getting into the business of providing loyal fans with the early 60s fashions they crave. Brooks Brothers has been supplying many of the male characters’ suits since the show’s inception. Now, Bryant is working with the iconic American store on a Mad Men suit inspired by Don Draper himself. True to the time, the suit has a trimmer silhouette, soft shoulders and features a two-button jacket in grey sharkskin fabric with narrow lapels, diagonal pockets and side vents. Plus, it is American-made at Brooks Brothers’ Southwick plant in Haverhill, Massachusetts. There are only 250 of the suits available, retailing at $998, and each has a commemorative “Mad Men Edition” label.
