US brand Donghia has launched its 2015 fabric collection, Past Perfect. Inspired by the rich and glamorous era of the 1920 and 1930s, textures and elegant detailing are important across each fabric.

Bee’s Knees is a traditional toile pattern updated with large scale birds and landscapes in 100% linen.

Roxie is made from hand woven silk, in warm rustic colours for an organic look.

Eastern illustrations influence Cat’s Meow. Whimsical tree patterns in tonal colours on neutral grounds create a delicate fabric.

Shirley takes inspiration from the feeling of movement and combines it with soft ethereal colours, for a complex linen with speciality fibres enhancing the fabric.

Metallic florals and a textured background combine with authentic Japanese Obis to create the ornate Effie fabric.

The Dapper fabric is a twist on Donghia’s bestseller,Camelot. Checkerboard angles in a soft neutral palette create a modern and serene aesthetic.

The Zelda fabric is made with boucle yarns in the weft. Subtle brushstroke patterns add interesting surface qualities to this refined chenille.

Homebuildlife subscribers can find out the key directions for textiles in our latest forecast, S/S 16 Soft Furnishings.
