Milan: Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are masters at taking classics from their 20 years of collections and moving them forward in fresh new ways. For F/W 11, the ideas of eccentric tailoring and novel proportions made for wearable menswear staples that were full of youthful energy. The design duo generously sited their young design assistants as their main inspiration; rock legend Bryan Ferry sitting in the front row was a reminder that a man of any age can be both spirited and sophisticated.
