Docker’s K1 khakis

docc1.jpg
Dockers second (and last) addition to their K-1 – Made in San Francisco – series takes inspiration from the heavy twill chinos  worn by US soldiers in the South Pacific and Far East during WWII.

The modern K1 takes on many of the design details of the original U.S. Army Khaki pant produced in the early 1940s, with slight alterations to give the pant a more contemporary edge. The design lies in the details: a heavy duty zinc button fly fastening, strengthened belt loops and one back pocket.

Dockers issued only 1300 of the pants, which are available for purchase at Nitty Gritty and Tenue De Nimes and come delivered in an authentic green metal ammunition box.
