New York:  Donna Karen decided to show her F/W 11 men’s collection in a Lower East Side restaurant — the perfect ambiance for a showing of tried-and-true classics with a slight urban edge. The season was meant to be am homage to the uniforms one would see at West Point Military Academy, complete with grey flannels, woven shirts with reinforced patches and spit-shined black boots. The technical influences and cityscape color palette further emphasized the impact of a modern uniform — one that seamlessly goes from the drill field to the concrete sidewalk.
