Diesel launched photos of their new Jogg-jeans this week: a hybrid product category, which combines two staples of casual wear: denim and sweatpants.
The woven and knitted fabric has the look of a jersey weaving, giving the garment 360° elasticity, and is dyed in indigo and laundered to create a beautifully realistic denim pant effect. We saw the prototypes of the Jogg-jeans at BBB back in January and they really are amazing.
Jogg-jeans are available for women and men in five styles, including one jacket for the male collection. The waistband drawstrings, the side stitching, the coin pocket with the Diesel flag, as well as the materials used in the production make the Jogg-jeans substantially different. Stay tuned on the site for an activewear/denim report highlighting the latest innovations in denim-look activewear and active styling in denim.
They are exclusively available at Selfridges in London today – the Jogg-jeans are definitely a brave and very comfy alternative to denim, proving yet again Diesel’s know-how in the denim universe. We want a pair!
