For the second consecutive year, La Rinascente and Salone Satellite (the section of the Milan Salone del Mobile dedicated to designers under the age of 35) have renewed their commitment to promote young design. Until 25 December, the Design Supermarket at La Rinascente in Milan will house the works of the top 7 designers from the 650 that participated in the Salone Satellite 2014. They will sell their works in the most prestigious store in Milan, and benefit from its huge visibility.
The selected designers are: Tsukasa Goto with his work The Geographical and Agricultural fruit bowls; Arturo Erbsman, who presents the Water Lamps; Tania da Cruz and her series of three stools, Playmobilia; Uto Balmoral with the Molding series of marble modular objects for the kitchen, Claudia Garay and her Mush Lamp, Maria Volokhova and the Topgirls vases, which evoke female sculpture, and Dossofiorito with The Phytophiler project, a series of hand-thrown terracotta pots on which functional appendices are installed to interact with the world of plants.
