Products that generate profits for charities are always a good thing. When Creative Growth, a nonprofit visual arts center that works with disabled adults, decided to release a line of T-shirts, Creative Growth for Everybody, featuring the artwork of its clientele, they called on fashion showroom The News for a little extra help. Having friends in high places certainly helped the project, with designers like Band of Outsiders’ Scott Sternberg, CFDA winner Robert Geller, and Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos of their namesake brand modeling the tees for the line’s lookbook. Prices range from $55-$74, coming to Barneys New York this winter.
