To commemorate Bloomingdale’s world-famous 59th Street flagship in New York, the retailer has joined forces with some of their most infamous vendors to create limited-edition shopping bags. In the spirit of the brand’s notorious “medium brown bag,” designers like Tory Burch, Elie Tahari, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen and Michael Kors put their own magical touch on the bag, all part of the store’s current Check It Out campaign, meant to draw attention to the season’s many special events, designer appearances and celebration of the massive store’s re-hauled shopping space. The commemorative bags will begin to be distributed in December, as each designer gets their very own week of attention.
