Denim is a fabric that looks better as it ages. Stylesight’s graphics and denim teams are in awe of these beautifully crafted indigo infused art pieces from UK artist Denimu.
Known only as ‘Denimu’ this British-born artist who now bases himself in Sweden uses shades and textures of denim as his palette to create these amazing visuals. Color variation and textured worn shades add a vintage feel to these rich denim collages. Using found and donated jeans and jackets Denimu cleverly creates some stunning, rich fabric expressions.
Pop art inspired portraits and famous icons have been the main subject for Denimu’s experimental fabric art. Although in some of his recent work he has crafted a selection of well known skylines and cityscapes.
