Established in 2006, fashion arts house Daydream Nation has finally opened its first flagship store in Hong Kong.
Founded by Central St. Martins grads and sibling duo extraordinaire Kay and Jing Wong, this creative hub sells its eponymous line of apparel and accessories, showcases local artists and hosts indie bands (Jing is also a singer/songwriter). Daydream Nation also arranges a variety of other events, including guitars lessons and workshops in jewelry-making, make-up, sewing, candle-making, pinhole photography, t-shirt printing and – wait for it – chocolate-making. Having collaborated with Peter Jensen, Urban Outfitters and The Old Curiosity Shop – and served as inspiration for Karl Lagerfeld – we’d say this opening is long overdue. -Christina Mannatt
