Dark and stormy at Aganovich

New York:  Aganovich’s spring/summer 2015 collection focused on dark deconstructed volume with oversized proportions, tucks, and drapes. Designers, Nana Aganovich and Brooke Taylor reworked their traditional tailoring to include angular folds, pleats, and layering, which created unique asymmetrical shapes. Varying collar styles carried the eye upward with extended angles, stand variations and off-the-shoulder portrait styles. The somber colour palette of black, white, grey, and red captured the serious tone of the collection. –Jaclyn Jones
