London designer Danielle Scutt is known for combining prints and embellishments with a short, playful silhouette. S/S 10 was a departure from her ethnic-inspired work for F/F 09, bringing a much more sweet and girly look to the runway with a collection comprised of skater skirts, exaggerated pouf shoulders, flared bustiers and draped, fringed scarves. Scutt’s creative motifs and placed prints took these pieces beyond flirty dresses and short suits, and made an edgy urban statement.
