Paris: Comfort was the top priority at Damir Doma for Pre-Fall, a concern that resulted in voluminous blanket coats, wide-leg trousers and multiple layers of fur and wool. Swaddled from head to toe in neutral grey funnel-neck suede tunics, tapered gabardine pants and fringed wrap skirts, Doma’s models projected a mysterious air lightened only by a few more colorful ensembles. Forest green, one of the most popular shades this season, made yet another appearance, this time via a striking suede suit featuring harem pants laced up the sides. Many of the silhouettes in the collection were difficult, in particular the relaxed pants tucked into fur ankle boots, but tops and outerwear provided some relief; chubby fur vests, leather sleeve jackets and ribbed sweaters are all wearable options.—Nina Stotler
