The typically ebullient Cynthia Rowley has recently gone to the dark side. Inspired by unraveling and blurring, her looks felt romantically off-kilter. Faded inky lines ran throughout the collection, as if someone went mad with a Sharpie. Haphazardly attached horizontal panels of fabric were used to create tulip dresses and drainpipe pants. Despite the moody streak, Rowley couldn’t resist including a pretty floral print, this time washed out and out of focus.
