The Stylesight Graphics team is loving street duo Miss Bugs and their new street art project entitled Cut out/Fade out.
Miss Bugs is a creative U.K. street art partnership from Bristol. Formed in 2007, the duo is a working collaboration between Missum and Bug.
Their recent collection really caught our eye, as it’s a mix of camouflage and powerful graphic street art expressions. Cut Out/Fade Out is a collection of MDF wood-framed artworks that uses everyday street background visuals as their creative canvas. These artworks mimic telephone boxes, skips and bus stops and are left by the artists for the public to respond to.
These part-photo collage, part-art statements are big, graphic and visually inspiring. Miss Bugs’ dark and humorous creative approach has a fresh feel to it, and with the visual landscape of London quickly changing the duo have to work fast to make and install their artworks.
Miss bugs is already well know within the street art scene and with recent exhibitions in New York(Brooklyn Nite Gallery) and Brightonn(ink-d) they are a creative force turning street art on its head.
