After deciding to head for the next rest stop while driving through Montana, we realized the next highway exit was to the site of the Battle of Little Bighorn. Since a national monument bathroom was vastly superior to a gas station bathroom, we took the extra few minutes to drive up to the site. We just happened to stop on the 134th anniversary of the battle! While we didn’t have time to stay for the complimentary lunch and reenactment, I was able to check out the visitor’s center for any vintage clothing displays. The mini museum did not disappoint, with everything from General Custer’s personal clothing to Civil War regalia and Native American wear.
More to come from Montana and all the treasures from the Antiques Roadshow…
