Now that the cruise collections have come to an end, we bring you three more denim highlights from the last week.
A sea of pale and clean, washed-out denim infused Mulberry’s Cruise 12 collection. Puritanical styling mixed with a strong collegiate 90s look and cropped cigarette pants looked fresh with girly white socks. Feminine dresses and skirts were also key with a focus on a full, gathered skater skirt look.
Swedish denim aficionados, Acne, have showed us that destruction can still be cool in this mis-matched quirky cruise collection. Ravaged cuffs, shoulders and elbows update oversized truckers and laddered surfaces cover skirts and jeans.
Frankie Morello’s latest cruise offering mixes outdoors styling with some dramatic and fashion-forward updates. Brown, sand, khaki and black are mixed with indigos and plaids and key details include utility pocketing, sherpa linings and leather-look coatings. For more images, check out Denimology.
