Courrèges Launches Sunglasses for Spring

French label Courrèges, a pioneer of the 60s Space Age aesthetic, has partnered with eyewear specialist Alain Mikli to debut a new line of sunglasses for Spring 13. The collection, which is part of the brand’s overall redevelopment at the hands of new owners Jacques Bungert and Frédéric Torloting, will launch with select opticians, multi-brand stores and at the brand’s Paris flagship and e-commerce site in February.

There will be new designs, as well as choice reeditions of André Courrèges’ mid-century styles, including his iconic white “Eskimo” sunglasses (pictured below.)
