You can always count on Mr. Ennio Capasa for contemporary design with an edge, and the Resort 2012 shoes are no different. The main focus was the use of vegetable leathers in natural tones and stained wood. The styles evoke a mood of sustainability, utilizing every aspect of raw materials while maintaining a sleek and slightly minimal look. A slingback wedge looks refined with a single sole closed toe upper and a stained wooden heel. Platforms combine cork, wood and leather creating a playful texture under a peep toe sandal. Casual items include asymmetrical sandals in rich cognac vegetable leathers and a slip-on bootie with a short Chelsea shaft. – Jenn Tello
