New York: Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra looked back to 1994, the year they met, and the eclectic styles they saw on the streets of New York at that time. Structured coat dresses paired with alpaca gloves and hats seemed to conjure Upper East Side ladies, while Matsuda-striped sequin pieces would have appealed to the club kids. The duo still offered the draped jersey dresses for which they’re known, but they closed the show with a series of floor-length sweater dresses that looked fresh and also incorporated their signature flattering draping.
