Milan: With an invitation designed like a vintage movie ticket, the F/W 11 Corneliani collection came to life in Milan’s Cinema Manzoni, a setting evocative of a 40s Hollywood set. Classic film clips were the backdrop for the “intellectual sophisticate” looks inspired by the personal style of Le Corbusier, pioneer of modern architecture, who maintained a scholarly yet dapper demeanor with his perfectly round spectacles and bowties. Lush, full-bodies fabrics, uniform styling and luxe layers all created a look as timeless as an old black and white movie.
