MENSWEAR PATTERN REMIX
New York: Known for graphic prints, cousins Lee and Ben Copperwheat brought back their signature striking patterns for F/W 11. While tailored silhouettes came from Lee, former Calvin Klein and Gucci print designer Ben was responsible for an array of freely-reinterpreted menswear patterns which were energetically used for tops, suits and outerwear. Most looks felt distinctly Copperwheat, but several elements paralleled other collections this season; print layering, traditional menswear motifs, and texture prints have all been spotted on other runways.
