Cofoco is a well-known, feel-good Italian restaurant chain, with the first branch based in the trendy Vesterbro area of Copenhagen. Recently, the first Cofoco has undergone a re-design by Norm Architects, with the new interior boasting a chic Danish design aesthetic with a clean, modern yet warm feel. Key features include monochrome tiled flooring, long wooden benches and seating with teal accents, complimented by plants and copper lighting by Danish brand Søren Rose Studio. The main restaurant is divided into two spaces, one of which features a long bench suitable for larger parties, as well as tan leather booths, and the other the main dining area, while another section of the restaurant is dedicated to selling ingredients and pre-made sauce mixtures, all displayed within a large shelving unit. As suspected, the Italian menu features appetizers, pasta dishes, steaks, and delicious pizza, while the service is warm and friendly, making it a great choice for family, friends and colleagues alike. –Emily Cater
