When a style has been around for as long as the Chuck Taylor has, it becomes a classic, a staple piece in your wardrobe. Whether you’re rocking the classic sneaker to your coolest hangout or to the music studio or you bought it because you saw your favourite artist rocking them, there is something about the Chuck Taylor that is synonymous with creatives and being creative.
So, to celebrate 100 years of Chuck Taylor, Converse decided to create a film titled “Forever Chuck”. The super edgy two minute film captures the spirit of youth culture and the aspirations of Chuck Taylor wearers. The fashion film aims to bring in the younger generation with a diverse cast of well-liked brand ambassadors. Look out for groundbreaking model Winnie Harlow and Games of Thrones badass Maisie Williams in the video below.
“Forever Chuck” is a continuation of the Converse campaign that has been going on across media channels for the past month, telling the Story of Chuck. Converse is a brand that has endured through the years and continues to see success with its classic style.
As we previously saw with Zalando and A$AP Rocky, these types of films have become increasingly popular. They give brands the ability to capture the spirit and moods they want associated with their brand, creating a stronger brand identity in the eyes of consumers.
