Consumer: The School of Life Live Tour

Throughout May, The School of Life will be unleashing their inspiring ideas for everyday, successful living on the UK public, as they begin a live tour to promote their new series of ‘How to’ guides.

The enlightening evenings will comprise fun and interactive sessions filled with lecture, performance, discussion and activity, embodying the ‘characteristically off-beat’ style of The School of Live, and the classes, events and sermons that they regularly host.

These energizing evenings will address the complexities of everyday life and offer fresh perspectives and new ideas for happy and fulfilled living through philosophy, literature, psychology and the visual arts.  The live events will also enable guests to meet like-minded folk in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

Published by London-based Pan Macmillan, the books in this special series include How to Find Fulfilling Work by Roman Krznaric, How to Stay Sane by Philippa Perry, How to Worry Less about Money by John Armstrong, How to Change the World by John-Paul Flintoff and How to Thrive in a Digital Age by Tom Chatfield – all of whom will be speaking at the event, with a special line-up of guests yet to be announced.

The inaugural proceedings will begin on May 14th at Union Chapel church in London, and will follow through from the 22nd – 24th May 2012 in Manchester, Dublin and Edinburgh.  For more information and tickets click here. – Samantha Fox
