Consumer: In Progress symposium by It’s Nice That

Online creative platform, It’s Nice That is holding a one-day symposium at the Barbican in December to showcase inspirational and groundbreaking ideas and projects from 2011, and explore how they will shape the future.

In Progress will feature an impressive programme of talks, insight and presentations from influential speakers, and industry specialists including London Design Festival creator, Sir John Sorrell, Tom Uglow, the creative director of Google and YouTube, Kim Papworth of Wieden + Kennedy London and Dazed & Confused’s Arts Editor Francesca Gavin.

The conference will explore current themes and the people that are shaping future trends, also allowing for audience discussion into the ‘direction of practice, process and innovation across a broad range of disciplines’ over the next few years.  Additionally, standout projects from 2011 will be showcased.
