Experience Lifestyle & Interiors on WGSN.
Commissioned as part of Salone Internazionale del Mobile next month, curator and The Gopher Hole founder Beatrice Galilee will be taking over niche supermarket la Rinascente with a programme of events and rebellious creativity to celebrate the thrill of hacking.
In honor of this creative design festival, the flexible and easily modified Hacked experimental lab space by EXYZT, will invite visitors to explore, engage and interact with the designers and their work, also providing a platform for these young, cross-disciplinary artists to present imaginative work that is best displayed outside of conventional exhibition settings.
Live performances and installations will include astronauts selling moon dust and workshops on how to build a Large Hadron Collider, with momentary and exciting, surprise events taking place at least three-times daily throughout the 100-hour duration of Hacked’s residency at la Rinascente.
Catch presentations from the likes of Studio Formafantasma, the brilliant team behind WikiHouse, Nelly Ben Hayoun, Technology Will Save Us, Caroline Hobkinson and Dominic Wilcox to name but a handful.
Hacked will run from Monday 14th until Friday 20th April, for more information click here. Our team will be in Milan to bring us all the latest trends and innovative projects from this exciting design fair – keep watching the site for our forthcoming reports in Lifestyle & Culture. – Samantha Fox
