The gowns came out at night for The Oscars, especially with all the controversy surrounding the event, it proved to be one of the most talked about nights. Reflecting her love of Ireland, Ronan’s choice of this vivid green shade confirms the importance of emerald for 2016. A refreshing but sophisticated alternative to expected black or red styles. With both Burberry and Marni including this bold mid-tone in their recent collections hues of emerald and forest green are set to dominate, packing more of a punch as they gather pace as key fashion colours.
