Street art is usually not known for its bright color use and frequently is limited to one or two shades for high contrast visual statements. Enter Stinkfish – an upcoming South American street artist with added color.
Based in Bogota, Colombia, Stinkfish’s unique color-amplified art is beginning to turn heads in the fast-paced world of street art.
The artworks are mainly depictions of family members and friends. Using photos to obtain facial features and stylized portraits, the faces are then decorated with vivid pattern work, which gives Stinkfish’s pieces that unique personal touch. The contrast techniques of the facial expressions mixed with the beautifully intricate graphic pattern work gives a refreshing angle to his large-scale art.
