From sneakers to boots, it seems there is some weather forecasting happening: ice. We are used to seeing the ice treatment done to rubber on the outsole, so we are more than excited to see it taking over the entire tooling of our favorite sneaker brands.
Converse comes in hard with the triple black Chuck Taylor having the only element on the shoe that isn’t blacked out be the iced tooling. In true nature, the brand has somehow found a way to reinvent the classic shoe… and we are still swooning like it’s brand new.
A new favorite of ours that continues to blow us away this season is Del Toro. Offered in both a cyan blue and the perfect grey, that sidewall stitch was all it needed to bring it over the top. The perfect seasonal transition shoe.
Last but not least, Nike takes us fully into Fall with the new Air Magma boot. With the cloudy gum outsole it is spot on. Keeping the boot light in appearance, it gives all the traction one could ask for.
