With much anticipation, the Coach x Colette Kids collaboration is finally here: a limited-edition unisex collection for children aged 2 to 6-years-old. The collection brings together the classic American brand, Coach which is known for its leather bags, and ready to wear looks, with Colette, the cult French store operating as the curator of cool in Paris.

The individual pieces hit on some key concepts for fall with the perfect combination of athleisurewear and ad-hoc patch placements. Varsity patches give these core pieces a kidswear makeover with playful items such as spaceships and dinosaurs spotted on sweatshirts, sweatshirt dresses, fleece pants and varsity jackets. This capsule collection seems to take its cue from the Coach womenswear AW16 collection shot by Steven Meisel, giving mini-me’s a chance to get the look.

The palette of primary shades pair with grey marl, navy and off-white for seasonless appeal. Also, the focus on dinosaurs is appealing for all ages, the collection offers up adorable 3D dinosaur coin cases, cell phone cases, purses and bag charms (you’ll no doubt see adults running to get their hands on the dinosaur shaped bag which feeds into the current trend for nostalgia and play). Prices for this collection range from $95 to $200 and for New York consumers, Coach is hosting a Colette x Coach pop-up  in their Soho store until November 1st.
