London: Designers Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro advocated heavily for print mixing this Spring, pairing bright crewneck knits with graphic checked trousers or straight knee-length skirts. In the spirit of this juxtaposition, the collection went with a certain type of dorky retro charm, advocating for eccentricity through blouses buttoned to the neck and embellished with floral appliqués, each look grounded by childish jelly sandals. Occasionally the quirkiness went too far, resulting in skirts with an unflattering pear silhouette or kooky sheer polka dot blouses whose transparency was out of place in this demure presentation.—Nina Stotler
