New York : The Cosmopolitan woman was at the forefront of Daniel Wingate’s mind for Resort. A plethora of long and lady-like tailored silhouettes introduced the collection, cut with exquisite precision in technical pliqué and crepe. Floor sweeping, wide leg trousers added a contemporary ease in shades of delicate rosehip and midnight black, balanced against intricately pleated tie neck blouses and tailored tunic jackets. Tuxedo inspired strapless jumpsuits proved the highlight of the eveningwear, oozing sophistication. Onward in the collection – and to the beach! -Wingate honored the brands 40th anniversary with a vibrant array of archive silk scarf prints mirroring the energetic and playful heritage of the brand. Bermuda shorts, camisole dresses and a covetable head-to-toe look captured a flurry of spectacular print paired with dark denims for a contemporary update. From the city to the beach – Escada has it covered. – Anna Ross
