NEW YORK…Taking her collection in a decidedly new direction, Charlotte Ronson turned away from the flirty florals and prim dresses of seasons past towards a new and fresh tough girl aesthetic for fall. Edgy black leather and strong-shouldered ‘80s silhouettes were balanced with body conscious knits peppered with suggestive cutouts and flirty asymmetrical necklines. Highlights included smartly tailored pants and an excellent use of leather, from corsets and shorts to decorative insets placed on pants and dresses. Ronson’s new collection perfectly captures the good girl gone bad feel that is so suited to the junior market this coming season.
