LONDON…The overtone for Charles Anastase’s new collection was a touch grunge, trying to capture “the spirit of Kurt Cobain.” The refined grunge looks were also inspired by the idea of mixing and matching vintage shop finds. Key looks were a red and grey rugby striped sweater dress paired with a short pink coat, a leopard jacket over a flared skirt and football style jeans with a motorcycle vest. The collection was cleverly accessorized with chunky chain belts and extra high platform boots. Look for early nineties grunge to have an impact this season.
