From April 11- 15, an extensive spectrum of characters will invade Berlin during the world’s leading and largest festival of contemporary character culture – Pictoplasma.
Pictoplasma returns to Germany’s capital with a bursting schedule of inspiring artist presentations, lectures, an animation festival, workshops, installations, many character walk exhibitions, performances and smashing VJ battles. For the Character walk, 16 galleries, cultural spaces and stores will open their doors and participate in the exhibition.
One of them is Happy Shop on buzzing Torstrasse, which shows the textile works of international known illustrator Miss Lotion. Inspired by medieval aesthetics, she teamed up with Danish textile designer Signe Emdal to create a series of spectacular digital knitted tapestries, which will cover the entire gallery space.
Be sure to check out our in-depth report, which will be live on Stylesight after the show.
