Miu Miu has recently opened two new stores in Changchun, China. The sophisticated stores are located in the Charter Shopping Center in Changchun, which is the capital of Jilin province, North East China. One of the stores focuses on their beautiful accessories and handbags while the other store stocks their whimsical ready to wear collections. Designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, the elegant spaces draw on classic Miu Miu design elements and add a refined, futuristic twist. The exteriors are outlined using glass and metal structures with illuminating light boxes, and the interiors use damask fabric and stunning matt black granite flooring. Showcasing Miu Miu’s latest luxury collections, together the pair of stores is a chic addition to China’s luxury retail arena. –Babette Radclyffe-Thomas
