Dallas: Lagerfeld chose Dallas for this year’s staging of Chanel’s annual Métiers d’Art show in homage to the city that welcomed Coco Chanel in her postwar return. This was Karl at his best with a 95 outfit show featuring all the looks from America’s Southwest. Exquisite details of feathers, embroideries, beadwork, Aztec blankets, fringing – it was all there. – Lizzy Bowring
