2018's new thrift stores: Los Angeles
May 24, 2018 | By Lourdes Linares
While round eyewear is enjoying a particularly flush renaissance this season, we couldn’t help but note the 1950s-era cat eye glasses that have been steadily making their way back to the forefront of cool. And if the F/W 11 runways are any indication, the more fantastical and over the top, the better, as oversize cat-eye shapes will only get bigger (pardon the pun) come September. That said, our heart lies with embellished frames, which exude a certain timeless, perennial geek-chic cool.
Below, some Paris and Milan street shots by Stylesight’s global correspondents alongside vintage fun and folly.
