URBAN EASE
New York: Francisco Costa’s Fall collection for Calvin Klein was inspired by childhood portraits of German photographer Loretta Lux. It was an exercise in pure minimalism and a ‘cool street vibe’ where the line up was based almost entirely on knitwear developed in new ways. From the elongated silhouettes to the soft texture plays and intricate workmanship this was for a woman as Costa described “kind of a gypsy, very youthful and very urban.” – Lizzy Bowring
