Fashion Week need-to-knows: Milan retail
Feb 19, 2019 | By Alice Gividen
The ultra chic Wythe Hotel has unveiled a new boutique, known as the Shop, in a corner nook formerly dedicated to vintage novels and great reads. Its theme and offerings rotate every four months and is curated by one local mastermind each go-round. In its first iteration, designer Caron Callahan presents a tasteful edit of artisanal and Brooklyn-based goods to locals and loyal visitors alike. With a focus on the Brooklyn community, the shop is filled with Callahan’s own designs, as well as a range of unique goods from friends and friends of friends. Here you’ll find clothing from the likes of Assembly New York, Unis, Lauren Manoogian and Ulla Johnson, alongside handbags from Marlow Goods, jewelry from Erin Considine and books from local publishers Melville House Books and Ugly Duckling Presse. The apothecary is curated by natural beauty expert Jessa Blades. So whether you live over the bridge or are just passing through, the Shop at the Wythe Hotel is definitely worth popping in. –Sarah Ryan Hecht
