The first day at Bread and Butter was a mass of inspiration, innovation and impressive stand design. One denim company who always has a great presence at the trade show and an impressive stand and runway show is G-Star.
This season was no exception: the Dutch denim giant impressed with a new angle on their much anticipated runway show – normally known to be fast-paced and heavily choreographed, it was slowed right down for F/W 11. Agyness Deyn introduced the show in a specially designed jazz-lounge with table seating, popcorn and bubbly, see images above. The brand was also making a noise on the London party scene last week as they celebrated an evening of art, music, fashion and film, curated by British Actress and new face of G-Star’s S/S 11 advertising campaign, Gemma Arterton.
