If you are wondering whether the perfect pair of denim jeans exist, no matter what size you are and no matter where you are, then this blog will help. We’re putting the spotlight on the brands and retailers that continue to break barriers by extending the size range in denim offerings or developing new lines from scratch with five pocket denim jeans offered up to size 24.
And, in addition to your favourite retail stores, celebrity “designers” are also breaking out into this market and pushing the evolution of the plus-size fashion category. Khloé Kardashian made her mark in 2016 when she launched Good American, targeted at women of all sizes (I wrote about it here). American actresses Melissa McCarthy and Zendaya are also picking up the mantle, launching successful plus-size collections with trend-conscious denim assortments.
Last year on WGSN.com we highlighted the must-see US-based brands/retailers that are changing the game when it comes to offering premium, stylish denim for curvier women. In this, our second edition of plus size denim brands to watch, we’ve compiled a global report highlighting brands offering premium, stylish denim assortments in the US and across the globe.
Below is a teaser of our full report, for more subscribers can check it out here.
