After a successful debut season at the F/W 12 trade shows, Danish label Anerkjendt is the brand everyone’s talking about.
Launched by the respected Per Johansen, founder of men’s young fashion brand Humör (and also women’s young fashion brands Nümph and Rütme) Anerkjendt is a new line of high quality denim and rich seperates that pools the creative resources of Humör with heritage-inspired garments. The first lookbook for their Fall/Winter 2012 launch has just been unveiled, revealing a mature and varied collection of fabrics, washes, fits and vintage remakes. The 180-piece collection includes chinos, shirts, T-shirts, jeans and waistcoats, using earthy colors, washed fabrics with Navajo elements, leather detailing and wooden buttons.
After the brand’s recent success for F/W 12 at Bread & Butter, Terminal-2 and Jacket Required, Anerkjendt has been over-subscribed with accounts looking to buy into it. With stocklists already established in 12 countries, we definitely see it becoming huge for us over the next few years.
