While in Milan for the F/W 10 runway shows, Stylesight stopped by Trussardi’s showroom to check out their 1911 collection. Hybrid coats with mixed materials and zip-off silhouettes were certainly impressive, but it was their footwear assortment that really got us excited. True to a season where comfortable materials, moods rooted in workwear and the idea of mixed influences were paramount, the brand showed styles that included leather brogues, workboots and even Velcro high-tops with wool plaid inlays or buffalo check flannel uppers. The trend of convertible options and material blocking made a statement on the runways as well, leaving us anxious for next season’s opportunities. Stay tuned for a comprehensive report on all of the footwear trends from the F/W 10 runways.
